The  Senior Men's League strives to serve FWGC members 50 and older of all levels of ability, who seek a league in which they can find their own balance of gross, net, individual and team competition with the opportunity to make and strengthen friendships with other seniors through sharing our great game.  Currently, we average 60-70 members with 40-45 participants weekly.

The league plays every Tuesday morning starting at 8:30 from late April until early October in a variety of team and individual formats, often with a choice to compete over 9 or 18 holes.  Four “major” competitions during the season are paired with alternative events for members more interested in less-competitive recreation with good friends.  Event formats and tee time assignments balance the social value of “everybody playing with everybody” during the season, with support for members across all skill levels who most enjoy playing with golfers of similar ability.  Prizes are awarded weekly in all event formats, along with several season-long recognitions.
